Founder & Experience

DVM Immigration Services was founded by Dilsia Victoria Mejia, a Certified Paralegal from Tulane Universitywith a Bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security and Legal Studies. Her academic background and professional experience are focused on immigration processes, legal documentation, and community-based advocacy for immigrant families.

With years of hands-on experience assisting individuals and families navigating complex immigration matters, her work emphasizes organized case preparation, responsible guidance, and culturally informed support for communities that often face barriers to reliable information.

Through both DVM Immigration Services and OM1 Foundation, Dilsia is committed to building systems that help families move from uncertainty to stability by combining education, professional collaboration, and compassionate service.

Attorney Collaboration

DVM Immigration Services is not a law firm, but we work in collaboration with licensed immigration attorneys who provide legal oversight and representation when cases require formal legal counsel.

One of our primary legal partners is Attorney Aaron J. Hurd of The Hurd Law Firm, who supports cases that require licensed legal representation and provides professional legal guidance when appropriate.
